POLICE: Drugs Found on Shoplifter

Officers with the Owasso Police Department were dispatched to Wal-Mart Supercenter on Friday where employees reported they had a shoplifter in custody.

Loss prevention staff reported that they witnessed a man select a box cutter knife from a shelf and then a watch from the jewelry department. They then alleged that the man went to the shoe department of the store, used the box cutter to remove the watch from its packaging, put the watch on his wrist, and then left the store without paying for the items.

Police arrested 42 year old Michael Jason Lowe of Sand Springs. Upon conducting a search at booking, Police report finding a 7.6 gram baggy of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Lowe was charged with Petit Larceny and Possession of CDS.
