OWASSO – Two of the city’s most prominent local families will highlight the monthly luncheon meeting of the Owasso Chamber of Commerce. The event gets underway around 11:45 AM at the Tulsa Tech Conference Center.
“Join us on August 1st for the latest on the Redbud District. We will hear from both the Coulter and the Mowery families as they tell us about their new developments.” the Chamber said in an announcement. “Get ready to learn more about Seven6Main and Mowery Retail & Lofts!”
The Coulter family, which is known for ownership of the legendary Smoke restaurant in Tulsa, has been the driving force behind the Seven6Main project in the downtown area. Construction continues as they continue to actively market the retail, office, and living spaces that will soon be available for rent.
Steve and Renee Mowery are second generation owners of Mowery Funeral Service, which has long been a funeral home of record in Owasso. In addition to that business, the couple owns the Bella Dia Suites and a number of rental properties. Steve Mowery is a broadcaster for Owasso Rams athletic events, which are now a production of InsideOwasso.Com as of Fall 2018.
The Owasso Chamber Monthly Membership Luncheon is held 10 times a year, on a monthly basis (excluding January and July). Each luncheon features an educational or informative speaker.
Members choosing to pay at the door and Non-Members will be required to pay $25.
