OWASSO – If you have old tires or electronic waste that needs to be thrown out, organizers of a Saturday event are asking you to consider going the recycling route.

The Tire and E-Waste Collection Event is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Destiny Life Church located at Highways 169 and 20 in Owasso. The organizations putting on the event will recycle ten tires per person, while electronics to be recycled for free include computers, printers, flatscree monitors, VCR/DVD players, radios, office machines, appliances, and anything that uses batteries or has a power cord and weighs less than fifty pounds.

Computer monitors and televisions will be recycled for a fee.

The event is open to residents of Bixby, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Collinsville, Coweta, Glenpool, Jenks, Owasso, Sand Springs, Tulsa, and Tulsa County.
