OWASSO – Owasso Police Department responded to a security check Friday, Nov. 30 early in the morning near the 8900 block of N. 119 E. Avenue. A caller reported that he daughter’s ex-boyfriend Darrell Ray Boyd, 38, who had just been released from Rogers County Jail, might be at their residence. The caller informed police that Boyd had been told to stay away.
“The homeowner was not home at the time and asked officers to check the residence to make sure Boyd was not there,” Deputy Chief Jason Woodruff said.
When officers arrived at the residence and knocked on the door, a male answered from inside the house. Officers instructed him to step outside, confirming that the man was indeed Boyd. The suspect admitted that he crawled through the window to get inside the house and was arrested for Breaking and Entering.
